I ordered a Boho Babe dress in red. The order arrived on time (in fact it was earlier than expected) The dress is a perfect fit and it looks great on. I have also had a winter coat in the past from Joe Browns and a Portobello road hat (Baker boy/News boy) style all in good quality.

I purchase the Joyful jacquard jacket, the material is excellent but the sleeves are too short for a tall person.

Ordered white button down shirt with coloured sleeves and collar just turned up after 3 weeks and an email to chase. Fits ok had to cut off loose threads from collar, just got a feeling that after a couple of washes will the collar still be there. First time I have ordered from company on line think I'll go back to visiting stores in town to check quality. Shame because the catalogue looks great but the reviews some what off putting.

When I read through the Joe Brown’s catalogue I love all the colourful dresses etc.
The styles and shapes are beautiful.
It’s a shame I’m in my 70’s and not confident enough to go shopping in any of those lovely items.

I ordered a shirt in May paid by cheque which was cashed on May 15 th . Shortly afterwards I was told that the shirt was out of stock and I was free to cancel ,which I did .Now ,after numerous phone calls and emails and being told the cheque is in the post I am still waiting .Not good enough by a long way !! I visited the Meadowhall store In Sheffield last night which was the first off line shopping trip in a while. i was looking for a dress to wear at the races this weekend. After going into approx 15 clothes shops I started to give up hope especially with the service, however I came across Joe Browns and I have to compliment how well presented the store was and how amazing the customer service was too. Especially the lady on fitting rooms who was extremely helpful and friendly, also went over and above to find a dress in a different size even though at first it appeared there wasn't one. It really restored my faith in retail again plus have the perfect outfit for the occasion thanks to her help!

I have placed many orders & always happy with delivery time, returns are also processed and refunded promptly. Lovely range of clothes!

Ordered a jacket and shoes on 31st May. Jacket delivered today (7th June) but delivery document tells me that the estimated despatch date for the shoes is 1st September! Called them to check if this was correct but met with total apathy. They send me a nice new catalogue but "out of stock for 3 months!!" Won't be returning in a hurry! Why didn't they say they were out of stock when I placed the order? Very poor service all round ?

I have been using Joe Browns for over 5 years now and I have always received a good service from them.
I'm not someone who gets hooked up on delivery dates, the parcel will get here eventually, always within 3 days of the expected date. The quality of the goods is much better than the you generally find on the high street with better designs and styles in my opinion.
Returning products is simple and quick, refunds appear quickly.
I received a card and £5 voucher for my birthday, completely unprompted, no other online retailer has ever done that for me.

Whilst the quality of the items is excellent, sadly I can’t say the same for delivery dates. Website says dispatch usually within 2 days of placing order.
Mine was not despatched until the 4th day. Blame was placed on amount of online orders.
If you order be prepared to wait at least 5-6 days before receipt of your order.
A tad annoying when paying top money that you have to pay post and packaging (my order was around £200) you would think there would be free p&p when certain amount spent.
In fairness to them, but only after I complained about the delay, they did send a £5 voucher. At their prices it won’t go far.
Undecided as to wether I will shop with them again.

Lovely clothing, very helpful customer services who are easy to reach on the phone. I would have given them 5 stars if they used a decent delivery company, they use Evri. The delivery drivers of Evri fail to understand that it’s necessary to wait after your doorbell has been rung.

I’ve been looking at half a dozen dresses on here for weeks . They never have any sizes !!!! Really poor

Ordered the Cranes Bed set Duvet and pillowcases. Very disappointed with the quality. Washed the bedding when it arrived on a short 20° short spin wash and a lot of the stitching started to come away on the pillow cases. Couldn't return due to washing it. Will not buy again.

Lots of fun, colourful, interesting designs, not your usual high street stuff. The menswear is cotton and breathable....but the womenswear is all sweaty plastic polyester and viscose. Disappointing, especially at these prices. I prefer the homewear. I've jumped over to White Stuff for natural fibres.

I do not usually post reviews but when you receive a really good product and good service from a company you want to let them know and let others know to. It seems to me that some people just like to mown, you can't please all of the people all of the time! I recently bought the patchwork design jump suit that is in the current catalogue. I sent the order by post on the 28th April with a cheque (because some people still like to pay that way!) My order came yesterday 10th of May so really prompt using the free postage option. The jump suit is lovely quality as pictured, I got the size 8 which fits perfectly, thought I would have to take up the hems but the length was okay. This for me is a real bonus as I am only 5' 3" and always have to do the chop & sow on all but cropped design trousers! I am happy, yes their clothing is a little more pricy than I would normally buy but if you want quality that you can wear straight from delivery without having to alter, to me it is well worth paying extra for! Not all their clothing is made in China, I checked and my item is made in India and definitely not shoddy or poor quality. I have bought several times over the last few years and have always been happy and I am quite fussy about what I like.
